Beautiful spaces.
Meaningful living.
With a passion for creating spaces that feel as beautiful as they are lived in, Ali brings a thoughtful, personal approach to interior design. What began as Mustard Seed Beginnings, a creative journey rooted in home and renovation, has evolved into MSB Interior Design, a full-service design studio in Holland, Michigan.
Today, Ali creates thoughtfully layered interiors that balance timeless beauty with everyday living, always honoring the people and stories that make each space uniquely their own.
Beautifully lived.
We’re proud to introduce the new MSB Interior Design studio in the heart of downtown Holland
Thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail, our studio brings together bespoke materials, custom cabinetry, furnishings, finishes, and curated pieces to create an immersive design experience for our clients.
This is where ideas become tangible. Where craftsmanship can be experienced firsthand. Where we gather, collaborate, and thoughtfully shape every element of a home before it comes to life.
At MSB, luxury is deeply personal. We believe the most exceptional interiors are not simply beautiful—they are intentional, highly considered, and a true reflection of the people who live within them.

Let's talk design
Every beautiful space begins with a conversation. We'll discuss your vision, your lifestyle, and what you hope to achieve—whether we meet in person or connect from afar.
The creative process
This is where your vision begins to take shape. Thoughtful space planning, curated materials, and carefully considered finishes come together in a design that's distinctly yours.
Bringing it all together
Every detail, beautifully considered. Your design is brought together in a comprehensive presentation, with the plans, selections, and guidance needed to bring your space to life.

Ali did an amazing job with our project in a very short time frame. She brought our vision to life much better than we could imagine! She stayed on budget and even helped with Facebook marketplace finds to save us money.
Ali also went far beyond our expectations. We appreciate her hard work on our project and so do our patients!
We hired Ali to help us with our Kitchen project. The experiece and expertise she provided us was invaluable. She had brought to our attention many details that we would have otherwise overlooked. She listened to our needs and wants and made recomendations accordingly. She was mindful of our budget and made selections to maximze the money we had to spend. The finished project exceeds our expectations and we are SO happy!

Highly recommended Ali for your design needs! She's very attentive, precise, and goes above your expectations! Her presentation was top notch, and in a timely manner. I noticed she took into consideration every little detail in the space I was having her design. She made beautiful suggestions I would never think about.
She knows what she is doing! I will be calling on her expertise for my next project. Don't hesitate to call her! You will LOVE her!!
Something beautiful begins with a conversation.
Whether you're reimagining a single room or an entire home, we'd love to hear what you have in mind. Let's explore the possibilities and create something that feels entirely your own.
Hi there!
There's always something happening around the studio, and I'd love to share a little of it with you. From spaces we're creating to things that inspire me along the way, consider this a little peek into our world at MSB.
xo, Ali
